Barbara Jean Jeffers Hummel, age 64 of Tunnel Hill, passed away Monday, July 6th in Pruitt Health Care in Fort Oglethorpe.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Herndon and Eartha Janes Jeffers; brother, Everett Janes; sisters, Evelyn Burchfield, Joyce Byrd, Christine Gwinn, Diane Lowe, and Clara Jean Reynolds.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Connie Sue Janes Sexton and Richard Sexton and Nancy Denise Janes Watson and Roger Watson; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy Edward and Samantha Reynolds; sister, Ella Jean Smith; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Thursday, July 9th 2015 from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Pastor Dan Barton and Joshua Watson officiating. Burial will be in Colonial Hills Memorial Gardens 10:00 am Friday, July 10th, 2015.
