Winfred Paul “Wink” Jones, age 87 of Dalton, passed away Tuesday June 23, 2026 in Valdosta, GA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Jones; his son, Brad Jones; his parents, James R. and Clemmie Jones; and siblings, Jesse Jones, James Jones, and Sarah Ruth Ellis.
He is survived by his children; son, Tracy Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Jim Zirbes; brother, Ben (Glenda) Jones; sister, Ona Mae (Robert) Hamilton; grandchildren, Autumn (Jeremy) Bates, Seth (April) Jones, Cody (Sami) Jones, Emily (Kevin) Blevins, Sarah (Jesse) Cucksee, Abbey Jones, Sally (Jake) Wheat, Caroline (Jason) Garner, Olivia Zirbes, and lots of great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
It was Wink’s request to be cremated and no memorial services to be conducted.
