William Charles Jones

William Charles Jones, age 88, of Tunnel Hill Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Warner Jones and Versie Edith Jones and sister Christine Cofer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Vickie Faye Jones, daughter and son in law Teresa and Robert Shields of Milton Ga; son and daughter in law Michael and Tammy Jones of Tunnel Hill Ga; and 4 grandchildren Bronson Jones, Zack Jones, Connor Shields and Averie Shields; and two sisters Wanda Manis and Janice Putnam.

Charlie Jones was a welding engineer  for Combustion Engineering, TVA, and ABB.  He traveled the world working in different countries using his craft. He was a Staff Sargent in the Air National Guard for 6 years.

He loved collecting classic cars but most of all he loved the Lord, his family, grandchildren, friends and laughing.

Graveside service June 9 at New Hope Church Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home, Tunnel Hill, Ga.
