Sara Nell Cannington Harbin, age 80 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 surrounded by family.
Mrs. Harbin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth. She will be remembered for her love and dedication to her husband, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arnold Lee Cannington and Irene Spence Cannington; brothers, Ernie Cannington, Hugh Cannington; great-grandson, Nathaniel Bush.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, James Roland Harbin; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Anthony R. and Mary Sue Harbin; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Harbin Robinson and Justin Robinson and Amy Harbin Ridgway and Jim Ridgway; grandchildren, John Harbin (Jessie), Elizabeth Harbin Bush (Patrick), Caroline Harbin Young (Drew), Carter Harbin, Tori Robinson, Grace Robinson McCay (Chandler), James Ridgway (Emma), and Matthew Ridgway; great-grandchildren, Jack Harbin, Annie Harbin, Owen Bush, and Sydney Bush; brother, Horace Cannington.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, a private family service will be held to celebrate the life of Sara Harbin at the chapel of Jones Funeral Home. Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth.
