Ruth (Jones) Ellis

 Sara Ruth Jones Ellis, 80, of Murray County passed away at Regency Park of Dalton, on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

The daughter of James Rouse and Clemmie Jones, Mrs. Ellis was born in Tunnel Hill, GA on August 4, 1940.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Ellis, and brothers, Jesse R. Jones and James G. Jones.

Survivors include siblings Ona and Robert Hamilton, Ben and Glenda Jones, and Wink Jones; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends at Jones Funeral Home from noon until 2 p.m. on Friday, April 9.  The funeral will be at 2:00 in the chapel with burial to follow at Center Valley Cemetery.
