Robert Edwards

Robert Edwards, age 80 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023, in Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Mr. Edwards was the owner of North Georgia Electrical Contractors for 40 years.

He was preceded by his mother and father, William C. and Frances Hayes Edwards; brothers, Billy, Arvin, Vernon and Kenneth Edwards.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Edwards; daughters, Cyndi Edwards Townsend and Melissa Edwards Ridley; grandchildren, Jason (Rachel) Townsend, Jacob (Rachel Turner) Townsend, Alex, Alli, and Adam Ridley; great granddaughter, Olivia Townsend; sister, Wilma Haymes; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Robert Edwards will be at 3:00 pm Monday August 7th, 2023, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth with Rev. Phillip Burns and Brad Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Monday, August 7, 2023.
