Nina Sue Elmore Brown, age 72 of Tunnel Hill, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, in Columbus, Georgia with her family by her side.
Nina was a devoted and faithful Christian and a member of The Healing Center Church where she served and helped in various roles. She was a member of several bowling leagues and teams. She was an avid Alabama Football and Atlanta Braves fan and she enjoyed various hobbies and crafts, as well as reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Ray (Cuz) Brown; parents, Jame Odus and Robbie C Byrd Elmore; brothers, Harrell, Donald, Bruce, and Riley Elmore; grandsons, Derrick and Sawyer Brown.
She is survived by her daughters, Victoria (Rick) Patterson and Kimberly Dawn (Jason) Black; sons, Daniel Edward (Sonia) Brown, Joseph J. Brown, and Shawn Prescott (Brittany) Brown; brothers, Charles (Flora) Elmore and Ronnie Joe Elmore; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Nina Brown will be 7:00 pm Monday, June 17, 2024, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Rev. Steve French officiating. Interment with her husband will be 2:00 pm Tuesdayt, June 18, 2024,in Gordy Memorial Gardens
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday, June 17, 2024.
