Nellie Ruth McClure, age 93 0f Tunnel Hill, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her home.

She was predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Ruby Black; son, Samuel B. McClure; daughter, Joyce Bridges; sister, Pauline Mikels; and brothers, Alvin, Oscar L., and Truman Black.

She is survived by her son, Douglas (Misty) McClure; daughter, Nellie Redman; brother, Melvin Eugene (Rebecca) Black; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild; and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Nellie McClure will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 25, 2026, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Frank Loyd officiating. Burial will be in Catoosa Memorial Gardens.
