Nancy Ann Houston, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, age 83 of Rocky Face, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 27, 2025, at The Canopy at Boynton Ridge in Ringgold.
She is predeceased by her parents, Robert M. and Polly M. Dickson; brothers, Larry Emmory Dickson and Robert Tracy Dickson; and sisters, Barbara Jean Canada and Patricia M. Black.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Kenneth Houston; a proud and devoted mother and grandmother of daughters and son-in-law, Phyllis and David Jones and Belinda Ann Pack; grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Dubee, Samantha (Joey) Splawn, Elizabeth (Austin) Ledford, Joshua Pack, Cory (Dionne) Jones, and Kelly (Wright) Hackett; 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; nieces and nephews also survive.
Ann lived a full life of love and adventure, creating cherished memories with her family and friends. She had a playful spirit and a contagious laugh. Ann’s legacy is one of kindness, warmth, and deep devotion to the people she loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all that knew her.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Nancy Houston will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Ross Jordan officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
