Minnie Martin

Minnie Ruth Martin, age 96 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, in Chatsworth Healthcare Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ray Martin; sons, Daniel “Pete” Stanley, Tommy Martin, Ronald Fred Martin; daughter, Joan Martin; father, Harley Stephens; mother, Mattie Mae Shells Sisson; siblings, Clarence Stephens, Daniel Stephens, Sharon Wimberly, Jack Sisson.

She is survived by daughters, Wanda and Ricky Witt, Glenda and Michael Stephenson, and Jane McKinney; grandchildren, Amanda and Steven Brock, Mark and Brooke Martin, Jessica and Jared Reeder, Michael and Michelle Hassler, Jeremy and Tosha Witt, Melodi and Ian Tankersley, Ben and Sara Stephenson, siblings, Ellen Plachner, Mary Castleberry, Fred and Sondra Stephens, Lavada Blaylock; 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Minnie Martin will be from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 4:00 PM with Rev Danny Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
