Michael Junior Hughes, age 72, of Chatsworth passed away Saturday April 23, 2022, in Hamilton Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ethelee Hughes; stepmother, Irene Hughes; brothers, Weldon Hughes, Kenneth Hughes; sister-in-law, Pat Hughes; best friend, Harrell Craven.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Connie Hughes; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Cheri Hughes; brothers, Tommy (June) Hughes, Joe Hughes; sisters, Rose (David) Roach, Linda (Leroy) Taylor, Peggy (Andy) Smith; sister-in-law, Nancy Craven; Special nephew and his children, David Mcroy, Madison Mcroy, Tyler Mcroy, Aubrey Oliver; grandchildren, Nichole (Kyle) Adcock, Mackenzie Coker, Joshua Richardson,; great grandchildren, Ulyssa, Kyra, O’Dell and Tessa Adcock; nieces, nephews, cousin; and dog, Bobbi.

Funeral service for Michael Junior Hughes will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2022 in Jones Funeral Home Chatsworth chapel with Rev. Bobby Green officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

Burial will be at United Memorial Gardens.
