Mary Ann Steele

Mary Ann Steele, age 91 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Other than her passion for family and friends, she was an avid gardener who found solace in her flowers. She loved sharing the beauty of her garden with others.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Martin; grandson, Scott Martin; parents, F.L. and Daisy Tisdale; and brother, Harold Tisdale.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in- law, Deanna and Bill DeFoor and Karen and Dan Harkleroad; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Malissa Steele; son-in-law, Tom Martin; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and cherished pet, Izzie.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Mary Ann Steele will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Chatsworth First Baptist Church with Rev. George Ross, Rev. Graham Arp, and Rev. Tommy Crider officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
