Mary Anita (Smith) Quarles

Mary Anita Quarles, age 81 of Tunnel Hill, passed away Monday, March 4th 2019 in Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James “J.T.” Quarles; father, Harmon Anderson Smith; mother, Clarinda “Clara” Seay Smith; brothers, Hillard “H.A.” Smith and Bradley “Billy” Smith; sisters, Mandy “Virginia” Crider Sane and Dorothy Jane Smith; and a great-grandchild.

She is survived by sons, Charlie Sisson, James “Michael” Quarles, Ricky Quarles, and Larry Quarles; daughters, Donna Sisson Young and DeAnna Quarles Peal; sister, Edna Smith Green; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Anita Quarles will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 6^th 2019 from Dogwood Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremiah Quarles officiating. Burial will be in the Dogwood Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm Tuesday, March 5^th 2019.
