Mary Jo Gamble, age 82 of Rocky Face, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was predeceased by her son, Charles A. Free; parents, Harold and Minnie Gamble; brother, Harold W. Gamble Jr.; sister, Brenda J. Tipton; and grandson, Chandler Caylor.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Alton) Collette; sons, Mike (Jama) Gamble, James Caylor, and William Caylor; daughter-in-law, Virginia Free; brother-in-law, Billy Tipton; grandchildren, Lamar Green, Amber Free, Sofia Free, Carter Free, Sandi Cantrell, Cody Gamble, Zach Caylor, Logan Caylor, Lucas Caylor, Allen Ball, Will Kinsey, Nick Kinsey, Nevin Walden, Betsy Hill, Blake Caylor, Kylee Caylor, Kirstan Schabell; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mary Jo Gamble will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 20, 2025, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth with Rev. Roger Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday, September 20, 2025.
