Marilyn (Steele) Martin

Mrs. Marilyn Steele Martin, age 69, of Chatsworth passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at her residence. A well-known beautician, Marilyn was an active member of the Chatsworth First United Methodist Church.  She was beautiful inside and out, and had a heart for others as big as the sky.

Preceding her in death were her son Scott Martin and her father Bill Steele.

Survivors are her husband, Tom Martin; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Tiffany Martin; Hollie Martin, Stacey Martin; mother, Mary Ann Steele; five grandchildren (Charlie, Tal, Thomas, Andrew and Blakelie Martin); sisters, Deanna (Bill) Defoor and Karen (Dan) Harkleroad; brother, Billy (Malissa) Steele; brother-in-law, Wayne Martin; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services for Mrs. Martin will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from Chatsworth First Methodist Church at 111 W. Cherokee Street.  The family will receive friends at the church from noon until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Saturday Sacks at First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 152, Chatsworth, GA 30705.
