Lawrence Alan Jonason, Sr. age 78 of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 25, 1945.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Jonason; parents, Elsie and Edwin Jonason; and brothers, Ronnie and Paul Jonason.

He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jay and Barbara Jonason; daughter, Leah Wells; ex son-in-law, Rodney Wells; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Bonnie Hamby; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ann Jonason, Sheena and Mike Norton, and James Vedder; grandchildren, Jonathan, Krista, Lauren, Nickolas, Leah, Jay Jay, Teddy and Chris; great-grandchildren, Jonluke, Lyon, Josiah, Harper, and Jasper.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Lawrence A. Jonason will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth. Full military rites will be by the American Legion Post 167.
