Kathryn “Kitty” Joella Winkler, age 68 of Chatsworth, departed this life and entered into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in Hamilton Medical Center.
Kitty was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Delmar Welch and mother, Mary Belle Salazar; stepson, Brian David Winkler; and niece, Nikki Leyva.
She is survived by her husband, David Waymond Winkler; son, Starlan Childers; step-daughter and husband, Brittany and Tony Banks; sister, Lori Welch Turpin; daughter-in-love, Amy Bagley; grandchildren, Caitlin Winkler, Bronson Bowen, Micaylah Childers, Brooklyn Mauldin, Luke Greer, Maliyah Childers, and Abigail Greer; great granddaughter, Blaklee Langford; nieces and nephews, Mary Shea and Lucas Delay, Madison Carroll, John Welch Turpin, Everest and Scarlet Delay; and many extended family and special friends.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Kitty Winkler will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Wilbanks-Reed Family Cemetery.
