Josie L. Fauscette, age 86 of Resaca, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at her home.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Fauscette, Sr.; parents, Boyd and Marie Rogers; and daughter, Jane Redding; 6 brothers; and 1 sister.

She is survived by her children, James Fauscette, Jr., Donna VanDyke, Frankie Miller, Billy Fauscette, and Jeffrey Fauscette; brothers, Raymond Rogers, Alfred “Bunk” Rogers, and Doug Rogers; sister, Shirley Fouts; grandchildren, Coulter Redding, Frances Thomason, Joey Fauscette, Monica Flood, Kathy Roberts, Heath Teal, Lee Redding, and Mark VanDyke; 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Josie Fauscette will be 3:00 pm Thursday, January 29, 2026, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth with Revs. Roger Hooker and Jerome Silvers officiating. Burial will be in the Fauscette Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm Thursday, January 29, 2026.
