Jonathon Waylon Tipton, age 27, was called home by God on Sunday, August 25th, 2024.
He is survived by his parents; James and Delores ‘Maverick’ Tipton, his son; Justin Mathew Waylon Tipton, his brother; James ‘Jamie’ Tipton, his niece; Chassidty Tipton, his nephew; Landon Tipton, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Randy and Rebecca Guess, his maternal grandparents; Robert Irwin and Jewell Dean Irwin (née Bunch), his sister; Jennifer Louise Tipton, and his aunt; Deann Grant.
Jonathon ‘Jon Jon’ was born March 25, 1997 in Dalton, Georgia, but lived the majority of his life in Ringgold, Georgia. He was a Phoenix High School graduate, class of 2016. He was a Christian Baptist who frequently volunteered at Christ’s Chapel Share & Care mission. Jonathon was a good man, kind and hardworking, and always willing to help someone in need. He was a loving father, son, and brother who enjoyed spending his free time with his family and friends or fishing. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Jonathon Tipton will be 3:00 pm Saturday, September 7, 2024, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Rev. Bobby Henson officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm Saturday, September 7, 2024.
