William Joe Worley, age 88 of Tunnel Hill, passed away Saturday, April 25 2026, in Life Care Center of East Ridge.

He was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Ila Worley; brother, Bobby Worley; and daughter-in-law, Vondella Worley.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Worley; sons, Steve and Billy (Robin) Worley; daughter, Kathy Worley; brothers, Charles (Jeanette) Worley, Jerry Worley, and Melvin Worley; sister, Sara (James) Cockerham; grandchildren, Rebecca Hunter, Donny Worley, Tyler Worley, Heidi Worley. Micah Worley, Noah Worley, and Teagan Worley, great-grandchildren, Jordan Jones, Traci Jones, Koy Worley, Kansas Worley, Kolston Worley, and Aria Worley; great-great- grandchildren, Kayden Burton, Jayvin Jones, Jemma Jones, and Jagger Jones; and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Joe Worley will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Rev. David Nix officiating. Burial will be in Nellie Head Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
