Jane Wright

Mrs. Gertrude Jane Wright, age 97, of Dalton passed away at her home on Monday, October 16, 2023.

 Born in Washington, DC, Mrs. Wright was the daughter of Wesley Leonard and Martha Virginia Bigelow.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Wright.

Mrs. Wright and her husband were teachers for the Seventh Day Adventist school system and also spent eight years as teacher-missionaries in Africa.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Bob) King and Judy Martin; sisters, Helen Ann (Eric) Dundon and Barbara Liscoe; grandsons John (Lindsey) King and Paul (Julie) Roy; and great-grandchildren Lukas Roy and Elsie Roy.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Jane Wright will be conducted 3:00 pm Saturday, November 4, 2023, at The Chatsworth 7th Day Adventist Church 1115 Highway 52 East Chatsworth, Georgia with Pastor Tony Kimbley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm Saturday, November 4, 2023, and immediately after the memorial service.
