James Christopher Sloan

James Christopher (Chris) Sloan, age 61 of Ringgold, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lamar and Henda Sloan; brothers, Ricky, Donny, and Danny Sloan.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Sloan; children, Austin, Amy, and Adam Sloan; aunts and uncles, Debbie (Noel) Clark, Annette Boyd, Marlyne (J.E.) Lindsey, Bill (Alice) Sloan, Wayne (Dot) Sloan; sisters-in-law, Leslie Timmons, Marlo Sloan, Meagan (Dario) Yaeger, and Shelby Yaeger; brothers-in-law, David (Tiffany) Yaeger and James Yaeger; mother-in-law, Sherry (Donnie) Rittenhouse; father-in-law, Alan (Lisa) Yaeger; Grandma Shirley Yaeger; step-children, Samuel (Eve) Linder and Marcus (Haley) Worley; nieces, nephews, cousins, and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Chris Sloan will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Rev. Charlie Hamm officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill.
