Gladys Myra (McClure) Brown

Gladys Myra McClure Brown, age 83 of Rocky Face, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Verlin and Canara McClure; brothers, Ned, Samuel, and Charles McClure; sisters, Ada Seabolt and Lavada Brown; grandchildren, Katie McGee, Robert (Bobby) Von Thaden,  Michelle Brown, and Jimmy Brown.

She is survived by son, Micheal (Marcie) Brown; daughters, Angelia Kay Von Thaden and Myra McGee; sister-in-law, Carolyn McClure; grandchildren, Michael Brown, Anthony Brown, Patti (Jake) Childers, Christian Brown, Matthew Baker, Nikolaus Von Thaden, Kimberly Bianca (Michael) Zumback, Kirby McGee (Tyler) Broome; several great-grandchildren; and several other relatives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Gladys Myra McClure Brown will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Pastor Chuck Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
