Edna Childers

Edna Childers, age 90 of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Childers, Jr.; son, Tim Childers; parents John L. and Ancelena Millsaps Patterson; siblings Siddie Payne, Annie Dean, Ethel Silvey, Mindy Patterson, Miley Patterson, Poley Patterson, Richard Patterson, Theodore Patterson, Harve Patterson, Janie Durham, Mae Dunn, Polly Dunn, Jack Patterson, and Pauline Ballew.

She is survived by her son, Mickey & Brenda Childers; grandchildren Jeremy & Cassandra Childers; Jared & Danielle Childers; Caitlyn & Garrett Gurley; five great-grandchildren; and special niece, Tina Kerr.   

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Edna Childers will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth with Jeremy Childers and Casey Kerr officiating. Burial will be in Fairy Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
