Debra (Maw) Darlene (McNeal) Lay

Debra (Maw) Lay, age 69 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023, in Advent Gordon Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lay; and brother, Billy Tom McNeal.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Charles Branam, Billie Jo Lay, Tammy and Cale Hamby; brother, Kenny McNeal; sister, Tommie Boles; grandchildren, Kalyn, Jessika and Jakob Branam, Kristin (Cody) Young, Michael Poteet, Brittany Ray, Justin (Ashley) Hamby, Derek Hamby, great-grandchildren, Oliver, Olivianna, Ella Grace, Jackson, Aubrey, Dawson, and Emerson; nieces and nephews; and furbabies, Sophie and Jackson.

Services to celebrate the life of Debra Lay will be 4:00 pm Sunday, December 10, 2023, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Southers officiating.  

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday, December 10, 2023.
