David Robert Capehart

David Robert Capehart, age 72 of Rising Fawn, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in CHI Memorial Hospital in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Edna Capehart; and sisters, Barbara Jean Capehart and Betty Jo Helton Beavers.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Capehart; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Denni Capehart and Robert and Jessica Capehart; grandchildren, Rachel Poss, Kade Poss, Benjamin Thomas, Gracie Sharp, and Grayson Taylor; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of David Robert Capehart will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 24, 2023 from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill. Burial will Lafayette City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Friday, March 24, 2023.
