Betty Jewel (Gallman) Bailey

Mrs. Betty Jewel Bailey, age 84, of Crandall, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Barney and Monnie Hicks Gallman.  She was also preceded in death by sister, Dymple Burns, and brother, Bobby Gallman

 Survivors are her husband, Robert T. Bailey; daughters Phyllis de Saeger and Rhonda Roberts; and son Jerome Bailey; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Jack Gallman and Jimmy Gallman and sisters Charlotte Burchfield and Connie Reed.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bailey will be Saturday, April 4 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the funeral hour.  Burial will follow in Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.
