Benny Davenport

Benny R. Davenport, age 68 of Chatsworth, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, in Hamilton Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bartow and Ollie Davenport; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Troy and Cecile McCamy.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Davenport; sons and daughter-in-law, Jonathan Davenport and Jason and Jenifer Davenport; brother, Alan Davenport; sisters, Geneva Nix and Sherrie Lawson; grandchildren, Ansley Lancaster and Hailey and Mac Botteron; great-grandchildren, Ansleigh, Wyatt, and Alaina Dyer; special sister-in-law, Lorie Headrick; special niece and nephew, Sarah Rampley and Dylan Lawson; several other relatives also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Benny Davenport will be 3:00 pm Thursday, February 29, 2024, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth with Rev. Tom Clark officiating. Burial will be in Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm Thursday, February 29, 2024.
