Barbara Sue Tucker (Haynes), age 68, passed away leaving a legacy of hard work, dedication, and boundless love for her family.
Born on April 6, 1958, Barbara spent her life nurturing the people she cared about most.
Barbara was a woman of strong character who truly understood the value of hard work. She was delightfully stubborn and never left you guessing where you stood; she told you exactly what she was thinking. Her honesty was fiercely genuine, and you always knew it came from a place of deep care.
Her greatest joy and proudest achievement was her family, to whom she was fiercely devoted. She was a loving wife to her husband, David Tucker, and a supportive mother who raised her children with that same strength and warmth.
She is reunited in peace with her beloved parents, Claude and Barbara Haynes.
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband, David Tucker; her daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Zach Burnett; and her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Emily Tucker.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to her five grandchildren, whom she loved dearly: Jonathyn Weeks, Kiya Burnett, William Burnett, Cheyenne McIntyre, Lauren Tucker.
Barbara also leaves behind her three brothers and their wives, her brothers- and sisters-in-law, and a large, loving circle of nieces, nephews, and friends who will deeply miss her sharp wit and honest heart.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Barbara Sue Tucker will be 12:00 pm Friday, July 10, 2026, from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Rev. Roy Gentry Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm Friday, July 10, 2026.
