Wretha Rose, age 78 of Cohutta, passed away Monday, March 20th 2017 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Rose; father and mother, Thelmer Clifford and Maudie Ellen Hatmaker; brother, Dorcy Junior Hatmaker, James Marlow; sister, Delia Twila Shoupe; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Rose; sister-in-law, Linda Joyce Marlow; grandchildren, Joshua Newton and Nicky Hardin; great-granddaughter, Savanna Beaty.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Judi Rose and James Rose; daughter, Diane and Mike Rose-Hardin; sister, Kathy Ann Brandenburg; brothers, Billy Wayne Marlow and Donald Mitchell Marlow; grandchildren, Leslie Kennedy, Kari, Kali, and Hannah Rose; great-grandchildren, Tyson, Emily, Leah, Jami, Kaysen, Payton Joy, and Pierce; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Wretha Rose will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 23rd 2017 from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with Rev. Tyson Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Rose-Hardin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 pm Wednesday, March 22nd 2017.
