William Donald Gribble, age 86 of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, September 13th 2017 in Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Julian and Opal Gribble; daughter, Andrea Knight; brothers, Cecil, Harold, Paul and Kenneth Gribble; and sister, Beatrice Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Mulkey Gribble; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Kim Gribble, Steven and Denice Mulkey, Scott Mulkey, and Larry and Cassie Knight; grandchildren, Chris and Stephanie Gribble, Andrew Gribble, Ethan and Savannah Knight, Tanner and Olivia Knight, Hunter, Garrison, Lindsey Mulkey and Logan Johnson; great-grandson, Dallas Gribble; brothers, Richard, Ray, and David Gribble; sisters, Jean Bishop and Brenda Wheat; and special friend, Jason Miller.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of William Donald Gribble will be conducted 1:30 pm Friday, September 15th 2017 from Tunnel Hill First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jay Tenney and Macoy Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm Friday, September 15th 2017.
