Larry Don (Shaggy) Robertson, age 61 of Chatsworth, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 27th 2015 in Hamilton Medical Center.

Larry was a beloved husband, father, papaw, brother and friend.

Larry formerly worked for Shaw Industries for 29 years where he became lovingly known as “Shaggy”.  He was currently President of Larry’s Trees to Dirt and a member of First Baptist Church of Chatsworth.  He also served on the Board of Directors of Keep Chatsworth/Murray Beautiful.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking and playing cards and Wahoo.  Larry will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew him.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Thompson and sister, Nell Simpson.

Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Robertson; son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Lorrie Robertson of Tunnel Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Jason Turner of Rocky Face; step-children, Kimberly and Breck Davis of Cleveland, Tennessee and Jennifer Owens and Jamey McCamy of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Hunter and Logan Robertson, Brandon and Alec Heuser, and Carolyn, Tyler, Caleb and Sawyer Davis; brother and sister-in-law,Kenneth and Reba Robertson of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Ray Sexton of Dalton; Mary Lou and Ronald Flood of Eton; Hazel and Thurman Parker of Collinsville, Alabama; Donna and Ruben Garcia of Texas and Brenda and Michael Starks of Rocky Face.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Larry (Shaggy) Robertson will be held Thursday, April 30, at 11:00 a.m. in Chatsworth First Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Shaw, Rev. George Ross, & Rev. Michael Starks officiating.   Pallbearers will be his grandsons, and his nephews, Joe and Jon Garcia.  Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Jones Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 29 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
