Gertrude J. Kilgore, age 93 of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, August 23rd 2015. She was born July 21, 1922 in Murray County and was the daughter of the late Freeman and Dessie Quarles Baggett.
Mrs. Kilgore was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist church and was preceded in death by her husbands, Charlie Hensley and Luther Kilgore; sisters, Delre Ridley and Janet Jones; brothers, Robert Baggett, Garmon Baggett, Odell Baggett, Freddie Baggett and Royal Baggett.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Benny Huggins of Chatsworth: sister, Mary Taylor of Bremen; brothers, David Baggett of Chatsworth and William Baggett of Lafayette; granddaughters, Michelle (Carl) Koneman of Chatsworth; Amy (Edward) Dearborn of Acworth, and grandson, Mark Huggins of Asheville, N.C.; six great-grandchildren, Christian and Braden Koneman, Isaiah and Madeleine Huggins, and Charlie and Mary Mae Dearborn.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from the chapel of Jones Funeral Home with Rev. George Ross officiating. Burial will be in Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Jones Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.
